Sage Accounting Software

Sage’s New Look

Sage Software, Inc. has changed their name again. It is now known as Sage. They have also redesigned their logos, product packaging and web sites. Take a look at the RKS Accounting page to see the new look.

Sage is also changing the version numbering of their products to reflect the year. Depending on the release dates, they are either 2009 or 2010.

DacEasy Software

DacEasy by Sage

  • DacEasy is celebrating their 25th anniversary with the release of Version 2010.
  • The 8 new features are from the most requested list of enhancements, so they do listen to their users.
  • The most significant enhancement is the return of a full featured Job Cost module. Call us for more information about all of the new features.

Passport

There is a a great new module available — Data Query. Provides access to the data in your Passport files. Users can assemble and arrange data into the reports they need. Print, view on screen or send the report to Microsoft Excel.

By The Way...

Caution…

 If you are downloading an evaluation copy of the latest version of the accounting or practice software you use, don’t put the trial demo on the same computer where you have your current accounting or practice software. The new program files may create software conflicts or even try to convert your data files.

Error messages…

 If you get an error message while in your program, follow the directions in our new resource, Print_Screen.pdf on our Resources page, to print out the message. It’s a great help to us to see the actual error message when diagnosing the problem.

 Make sure you get Windows Vista Business or Windows XP Pro. Check out the Resources page for the RKS recommended computer specifications.
